True to Tradition Built-in Innovation Customer Inspired

LIGNOMAT CONTROL SYSTEMS

For more than four decades, Lignomat has been at the forefront of kiln control system research and engineering. Customer inspired features and in-house expertise keep Lignomat’s Control Systems up to date. Lignomat has thousands of our kiln controls in operation worldwide. Our extensive customer base actively contributes to the refinement of our systems.

At Lignomat, we specialize in carefully drying lumber tailored to the specific needs of your industry. Our focus remains on delivering top-quality lumber while minimizing drying time and down time, and optimizing energy management,
ultimately, helping our customers enhance profitability.

We honor tradition while embracing innovation. Tradition is always an integral corner stone of our values. To ensure the lumber quality, our control system is designed to perfect your drying process. In line with tradition, we maintain our
customers’ favorite schedule editor for drying by moisture or time, equalizing, conditioning and heat treat. We also added Schedule Jump and Schedule Hold fuctions upon customers’ demand. All these features can be utilized to tailor the drying process to your specific nedds.

In the meantime, how we dry lumber is evolving in order to stay profitable as energy costs and the expectation for quality continues to rise. With substantial real-world data for analysis, we have continuously evolved the method to enhance
its impact on quality while simultaneously reducing energy consumption. For example, our customers are experiencing an accelerated drying rate and energy savings after implementing AHDRC drying (Dump Cycle Drying). This latest
data-driven improvement focuses on promoting increased water migration between cycles and utilizing stored energy to more efficiently to reheat the kiln after a cycle, thereby reducing primary heat demand upon reheating. Another example is Lignomat Heat-Vent Interlock (HVI) function. It is a new tool to reduce heat energy being vented before it has the opportunity to be transferred to the lumber. Stored heat energy reduces demand while and after venting as heat
is re-transferred along with evaporated water into the circulating air.
